My story
On the 14th May I will be running my first full marathon - The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and little did I know when I signed up for it is considered very hilly😦😂👌 so I've set myself quite the challenge..
It also happens to be 27 yrs to the date since we lost my mam so I thought it would be special to run it in memory of her. I always remember the tenacity she wanted to instill in me so this ones for her ❤
I have chosen to raise money for 3 charities: MND having followed Rob Burrows story and his courageous fight against a disease which does not yet have a cure, Leeds Hospitals to help raise funds towards a specialist MND centre and also Mcmillan Cancer Support to continue funding cures so fewer people lose loved ones too soon.
