Robust UK Dragon Boat Race Team 2026

Our Robust UK team is stepping well outside our comfort zone - swapping dry land for a lake as a group of enthusiastic (but very amateur!) rowers will be taking part in a Dragon Boat Race at Himley Hall on Sunday 17th May.

We’re doing this in support of two incredible causes: Wolverhampton Rotary Club Charitable Trust and Dougie Mac Hospice. The Dougie Mac provides vital hospice care for adults and children living with life-limiting illnesses across Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire, and surrounding communities, as well as much-needed support for their families and carers.

This is a charity that has touched the lives of so many people in our local area. Like many others, we’ve seen first hand the compassion and care they provide, and we felt it was time to give something back.

We may not be experienced rowers, but we’re determined, slightly competitive, and ready to give it everything we’ve got - all for a cause that truly matters. Every donation will help support the incredible work these charities do every single day, so please give what you can.
