We made it!! Our makeup might have melted, but our wigs are still on and I don't think we scared TOO many people! Very proud of the kids, particularly our Little Miss White Rabbit, who has a rotten cold (and little legs!). Thanks so much to everyone who's donated - we're really grateful 👍

Elaine Proudlove is raising money for St John's Church Menston with Woodhead
My story
St John the Divine, the Parish Church in Menston, desperately needs a new roof! It was built in 1871, so this year marks the Church's 150th anniversary. 1871 was also the year that Alice Through The Looking Glass was first published, so we thought it would be fitting to beat the bounds (i.e. walk the parish boundary, some 12 miles) in Alice in Wonderland fancy dress to raise money for the roof. This will be quite tough for the kids, but we are up for a challenge!
