My story
Hi all! The children, parents, staff, grand-parents etc. from Alice's school (St. Anne's) have decided to collectively "row" the 4,700km across the Atlantic to raise money for outside gym equipment for the children. I'm going to try to do my part. I always wanted to be on a crew team so here it goes...
I'm committing to row the length of the Schuykill River, which runs through the heart of my home town, Philadelphia. According to Wikipedia that's 217km. Even though I will be rowing from the comforts of the gym rather than on the frozen Schuykill, I hope you'll support me and and the children at St. Anne's. Every $ or £ counts. Thank you!
As of April 27th, I've rowed 75km - about 35% to target! Rowing 2 -3x's a week I'm targeting to reach my goal (Boathouse Row!) by end of of the school year!
