Alice Athow-Frost is raising money for Ovarian Cancer Action
My story
We lost our wonderful mum last summer to this monster of a disease. She fought it for 4 years but sadly in mum's case, and in the vast majority of cases, the cancer had spread by the time she was diagnosed. Research has meant that other types of cancer, like breast and prostate, have much higher survival rates than they once did. Ovarian cancer is lagging behind and has meant that we've lost our lovely mum. She was a woman of many wise words and we miss her every single day. Please help me to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Action by running a half marathon next mothers day. Thank you xx
