Running for Rob

One Month to go!!!

So, as some of you already know last year I set myself a challenge and signed up for the Leeds Rob Burrows Marathon. This is a massive challenge for me as I’ve never even run a half marathon let alone a full one! And being truthfully honest with you I am absolutely s****ing it!!

I started my training last year and having had a couple of set backs with injury and a chest infection only a few weeks ago, I started to question… can I still do this!!! But after watching the Rob Burrows documentary and reading his book I just keep reminding myself why I decided to do this in the first place!

I’ve never been a big rugby fan (although if my grandad was still here I’m sure he would of changed that, he was a massive rhinos fan!) but after seeing the determination, love and positive spirit from Rob, Lyndsey and their family when facing the challenges they are every single day along with all the other families who are living with MND I want to do my part to help!

I have decided to raise for both the Leeds Hospital Charity & Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a charity close to my heart.

I’m determined to complete this and cross the finish line whether it be on both feet or on all fours Ha! And I’m hoping to raise as much money as possible for these amazing charities by doing this ❤️
