Running Manchester Marathon to raise funds for SSC
Andi is raising money for Senior Staffy Club
My story
I am running the Manchester marathon on 14th April to raise funds for the Senior Staffy Club. I have my own senior staffy called Kia. We initially fostered Kia when she was 12 years young. We were blown away by how well mannered, affectionate and calm she was. We were more blown away that after 2 months with us, she had zero applications for adoption. So we adopted "the perfect family dog" officially ourselves. And she continues to bring us so much joy and happiness.
About the Senior Staffy Club
The Senior Staffy Club’s aims are to:
Rescue and re-home Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Staffy Cross dogs aged 7 years and older.
Help promote Senior Staffies in other rescues who are looking for a new home.
Recruit foster carers who have been home checked by us and who can then offer a comfortable and safe space for a Senior Staffy in need.
Provide educational and community input relating to dog welfare in general, and the welfare of Senior Staffies in particular.
