Running the Manchester Marathon for PAPYRUS & MS UK

On the 19th of April 2026, I’ll be taking on the Manchester Marathon to raise money for two incredible causes that mean so much to me — PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide and MS-UK.

I’m running for PAPYRUS in memory of my dear friend James, who sadly passed away on the 27th of September, aged just 24. James was a regular supporter of PAPYRUS, and I want to honour his generosity and kindness by continuing to support a charity that saves young lives through vital awareness work and their life-changing HOPELINE247 service.

I’m also running for everyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis — a condition that impacts over 130,000 people in the UK. The strength, courage, and resilience of those living with MS, and the families supporting them, inspire me every day. This charity is deeply important to my family and me, and I hope that together we can help bring us closer to finding a cure.

Training for a marathon is tough, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by the people these charities help. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference:

• £10 could help fund life-saving helpline support at PAPYRUS.
• £20 could help provide counselling, advice, or physiotherapy sessions for someone living with MS.

My goal is to raise £5,000, which I’ll be splitting 50/50 between the two charities — so your support helps twice over.
