Our story
We're Hayley and Ben β sister and brother β and together we're raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) has changed our family's life forever. We lost our dad to MND in 2012, and not a day goes by that we don't think about him.
This challenge is, first and foremost, for Dad.
But sadly, our reason for fundraising doesn't end there.
In recent years, we've seen more friends and members of our community affected by this devastating disease. With seeing more people affected first hand, it is a stark reminder that MND continues to impact far too many families.
Together, we're taking on our own running challenges to raise as much money as we can for MNDA.
πββοΈ Hayley is training for her first ever road marathon, taking on the London Marathon after building up through events including the Oxford Half Marathon.
πββοΈ Ben is returning to the Marathon distance after previously completing the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, determined to continue supporting the fight against MND.
Every mile we run is in memory of Dad, in support of those living with MND today, and in hope that one day no family has to experience what ours has.
Thank you so much for supporting us. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help MNDA continue to provide vital support, fund research and work towards a future free from MND.
For Dad. For everyone affected by MND. Together. π
