Ryan runs London Marathon 2023

Ryan Brownlie is raising money for Heathrow Community Trust and The Brain Tumour Charity

My story

The London marathon is a special race and there is a reason why it is the best in the world.

I have done many endurance events, but now London is my next challenge.

I have chosen to run for The Brain Tumour Charity and Heathrow Community Trust.

At the start of 2023 my mum was diagnosed with 2 tumours on the brain.
This was finally diagnosed after the last year of persistent headaches, confusion and forgetfulness. This was always put down to menopause, until she collapsed at work due to suspected meningitis. When she began treatment for meningitis, during a CT scan they found the tumours, Something that should have been picked up earlier.

If you see me waddling around for the next few months, it could be the day after a long run.

Thank you in advance for donating to a cause that is so close and personal for me.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Heathrow Community Trust and The Brain Tumour Charity.
