The Lees are raising money for The Island Trust
Our story
We are so lucky to live right by the sea and have so many opportunities to get out onto it and into it for pleasure, physical or mental well-being and challenge!
Not everyone has that luxury or accessibility and The Island Trust is one of those charities that makes it possible for all - all ages and abilities! I sadly have limited sailing experience and ability despite living right by the sea all my life, and have never sailed so far offshore so I am feeling a bit nervous… if there will be enough wind?! 😜
We are undertaking the Eddystone Pursuit as a personal challenge but also to help raise money to assist others in accessing the sea through sailing and all the additional life skills and benefits that brings too! 😍
