My story
I will be running the Royal Parks half marathon in October, I actually got in on the ballot.
In 2015 we lost Alfie, every run I've done since, has been for him, he is the whole reason I started.
However 2.5 years ago i had major surgery, which meant absolutely no running, lifting or anything else for over 12 weeks. Last year in November, i slipped at the 6k mark in a race, ended up with a grade 2 sprain, 7 weeks of no running, the ankle still isn't 100% but I'm good to run, cleared by physio. Its been a battle but I'm back.
This year I have decided to fundraise for Little Troopers, a fantastic charity.
Alfie won Little trooper of the month when he was diagnosed with cancer.
