20 mile Mighty Stride - The kiltwalk - Dundee 2023

I will be taking part in the Mighty Stride on 20th of August and I felt it would only be right to support so many of our furry friends who currently don't have a home or a owner to go on adventures and walks with!

About The Underheugh Ark
We are a welfare based animal rescue charity who offer safety for hundreds of animals, large and small every year. We help all sorts of animals from cats to hens, dogs to terrapins. We help stray dogs from the pounds in the UK, owner hand-ins and we often those dogs have heath issues that need ongoing vet treatment; sometimes for the rest of their lives. We also help small animals such as-rabbits, guinea pigs etc to larger ones unwanted colts, ex racehorses and donkeys. We have aviaries with many budgies, canaries and parakeets who remain with us in their flocks for their lifetime. We are run purely by volunteers so all money raised goes directly to the animals. We offer rescue back up for life to every animal that comes to us so they are safe from the minute they arrive to the day they die. We always endeavour to help as many animals as we can and we need the support from our wonderful supporters to help us to carry on. With over 400 animals with us each month we desperately need help to provide them with all the veterinary treatment they require, to pay for any behavioural help needed, to buy food and bedding and to get the animals ready to be adopted and find their forever homes. Any help we receive in funding our Rescue is greatly appreciated. We are a registered charity who strives to work our hardest to help animals in need.
