My story
Every once in a while you have to put your feet where your mouth is, and so in the interest in buying some better seats for our audiences, and staging for our actors, Sarah is donning her trainers and running a half marathon to raise some funds for GSC.
Over the years, we have kindly been allowed to borrow staging from sources such as the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, GLive, The Brit School to name but a few. However, as our productions increase, and sometime inclement weather causes damage to the deck, we are looking to start building up our own stores. One 8ft 4 deck costs £400 plus VAT.
Our outdoor plastic chairs have been used since 2006 - and they were second hand then! We are looking to start replacing some of these chairs and would like to invest in some of the tall chairs that we borrowed for The Canterbury Tales. This, we hope will not only be comfier for your bottoms but better sightlines too! Each chair costs £19.50 to buy new.
If you could like to sponsor Sarah and help towards buying a piece of steeldeck or chair, please sponsor her here!
