Sarah's Half Marathon

You may or may not know but I am running the Henley Half Marathon next Sunday. I was not planning to this for charity but then people kept asking me who my charity was. So, I know this is last minute but I have decided to run for MAC-UK. This is a charity that is very close to the hearts of my family and friends.

MAC-UK makes mental health accessible to deprived young people. 1 in 3 young people who offend have a mental health need which is unmet at the time of offence. MAC-UK engage with those who might not otherwise seek help and who may be involved in gangs or other antisocial behaviour. They work alongside them to promote positive mental health through innovative, youth-led projects. They work in schools; provide mental health training, consultancy and influence practice; and carry out pioneering research.

I would really appreciate any support, no matter how small.

Mini MAC is open to students with an interest in song writing, music production & performance, photography, film & advertising. Taught by young people who can relate to the students in a unique way, Mini Mac builds skills, self-esteem & creativity.
