Sarah's 1st Marathon!

I am taking part in my very first marathon running to raise funds for Kids Can Achieve.  I enjoy running and have taken part in half marathons before but I have never taken on the challenge of a full marathon. I will be running the Brighton Marathon on the 7th April 2024!

I am raising funds for Kids Can Achieve, a local charity which supports children and young people with special needs and disabilities.  KCA runs a variety of services including play schemes, afterschool clubs, outreach, family support and counselling.  They work to support children with disabilities to have the same opportunities that all children should enjoy.

KCA support children and young adults with learning disabilities, including those with physical disabilities, ADHD, autism, and complex communication needs. They provide child centred activities, which are fun, educational, and stimulating, offering learning and development at every opportunity.

They are in desperate need of updating their sensory room and are currently fundraising to create a new specially designed sensory room which will create an explorative, interactive and calming sensory space for children with learning disabilities.

All the money I raise through taking part in the Brighton Marathon will go towards this project so please support me and help KCA to create this amazing sensory space for the children and young people they support!
