Sarah's 10k run for Castaway Goole Music Theatre

Sarah is running the Hull 10k this year on the 8th June for an amazingly charity in Yorkshire and Humberside - CASTAWAY GOOLE MIUSIC THEATRE. (Sarah isn't a very good runner at the moment. She's going to need to get super fit and needs your help to support the incredible life changing work of Castaway Goole!)

Believing in the power of music and theatre to transform lives, Castaway-Goole provides performing, leisure and training opportunities for adults and young people with learning and physical disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions.

I have worked with Castaway for nearly 3 years, and seen lives, well being and physical and mental health literally changed through the work it does. The skills, experiences and quality of training it provides for young people and adults with physical or learning difficulties are invaluable to the members. Castaway and everyone who works in Castaway make arts, performance, theatre, dance, music accessible, important and is an essential force in Yorkshire. However Castaway are still sadly under funded and need people's support to keep all of it's wonderful, ambitious and transforming projects alive in Yorkshire and Humberside.
