Sara Finn is raising money for Skcin and Melanoma Focus
My story
In September 2018 I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma after having a birth mark removed in the August. In October 2018 I was informed that the cancer was Stage 3 and had spread to my lymph nodes in my groin. At this point the cancer had not spread any further.
After two operations followed by fortnightly Immunotherapy until December 2019, hopefully this caught any other rogue cells in the hope of stopping the cancer from returning.
When I found out about the cancer I was floored, especially when I was due to become a mummy in two weeks time. But I am now discovering a whole new me and learning just how precious life is.
I have decided to raise money for Melanoma Focus as since September 2018 I have quickly learnt a lot about this aggressive cancer and believe there is just not enough awareness out there.
I would like to raise at least £100 for my 100 miles.
