Sarn Helen Challenge in support of the Hoplite Charity

June 2019, eight riders from across the Regiment will take part in one of the toughest off-road bike challenges within the UK - The Sarn Helen trail.

Mountain bike routes UK regards the Sarn Helen trail as ?the most ambitious off-road ride in Britain?. This tortuous route covers over 270 miles, including over 8000 metres of ascent (and descent), from the mountainous north to the southern tip of Wales.

The Sarn Helen route traditionally takes over seven days. Our team is aiming to complete the route in just three!

Why we're riding, we?re raising money for The Hoplite Charity, your contribution will directly provide rapid welfare support to serving and former members of the Unit ahead of assistance from the larger Armed Forces charities; it has assisted our people and their families in the most difficult and tragic of circumstances.
