My story
Some of you may already know that I am dragging the old girl wheezing and moaning about ‘my Achilles’ up Scafell Pike on 29th Sept. I’m not actually sure what she will moan about the most - the Vertigo, the Asthma, the Achilles or as I suspect the worst point will be…..2 nights in a Youth Hostel (apparently she is having flashbacks to bunk beds that felt as though they were sprung with barbed wire and sharing bathrooms with a zillion others!). Despite all this she is giving it a go and it would make my climb a bit easier if I could motivate her by reminding her how the charities are relying on donations.
