Séverine Bismes is raising money for Action Tutoring
My story
Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!! I've apparently agreed to run a 10k in a few weeks! (and you can see on the picture what happens when I WALK up a hill.....)
So I am raising money for Action Tutoring.
Action Tutoring is an initiative providing volunteer tutors to work one to one with pupils in inner city schools preparing for GCSEs in English and Maths. They focus on working with pupils on the D/C borderline with the aim of helping them achieve a C or above in both subjects to increase their chances of going on to further education, employment or training. Action Tutoring is currently working in 12 schools around London, supporting over 200 pupils, and is aiming to work with 30-40 schools in academic year 2012/2013
