Sada Sadachchara is raising money for Lotus Caring Hands (LCH)
My story
Just before my summer vacation, I participated in sports meet held by my week-end Tamil school (Harrow Tamil School Association) and I really enjoyed that day. But when I think about kids in North East of Sri Lanka, after the civil war, most of the kids don?t have enough facilities to improve their physical and mental abilities. Quite a lot of kids lost their limbs during the war and became disabled. I can imagine how they will feel when their dreams were shattered and opportunities are denied.
This year, I have decided to run Bupa Junior & Mini Great Northrun 2013, to raise money to buy sports equipment for disabled kids in North and East of Sri Lanka.
At the meantime, I would like to donate one third of the money raised to HTSA for giving me the opportunity to participate in sports day.
