Event dates: 1st June 2023 – 4th June 2023
Sigrid Makins is raising money for Momentum Children's Charity, Rethink Mental Illness and Triangle Adventure Playground
As some of you may be aware I will be cycling from Vienna to Prague at the beginning of June.
Although I do a lot of cycling this will prove quite a challenge as there is a lot of climbing! but I am ramping up the miles in the hope I will be fit and ready to take this challenge on. The ride covers 285 miles over 3 days so a lot of time will be spent in the saddle!
All of the charities that I am supporting are well worth your donations so I would be very grateful for any support you are able to offer.
Details of the charities are:
. Momentum Children’s Charity - which supports families across London, Surrey and Sussex whose children have been diagnosed with cancer or a life-challenging condition. The charity partners with local NHS hospitals, offering personally tailored support to the entire family, both in hospital and at home, through its team of Family Support Workers.
. Rethink Mental Illness - Rethink Mental Illness is the charity for people severely affected by mental illness. They provide expert information and services, and campaign to improve the lives of people living with mental illness, their families, friends and carers.
. Triangle Adventure Playground - London’s oldest on site adventure playground which offers exciting free play to all young people aged 6 – 17, targeting those most economically and socially disadvantaged in Lambeth.
Every penny raised will be match funded by the Berkeley Group, DOUBLING any donation you give.
With your help, we can support more children with life threatening illnesses, help more mentally ill people to receive advice and support, and keep London’s oldest adventure playground going. Please give whatever you can.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Momentum Children's Charity, Rethink Mental Illness and Triangle Adventure Playground.
