Simon runs The Standard Chartered Great City Race for Esuubi

On 14th July, I will be running in The Standard Chartered Great City Race to raise money for Esuubi (esuubi.org.uk).

Esuubi is a small charity that funds an orphanage in Uganda to help children who have been left without a family through the devastating impact of Aids and civil war. Without Esuubi, many of the children they care for would have no home, no food or water, no clothes, no education and no one to provide any love or care.

Together with colleagues, we are hoping to raise £2,000, which will be enough to fit out an entire new nursery for the orphanage.

Because Esuubi is a volunteer run charity, last year 99.7% of all donations were spent on the orphanage. The small balance was spent on administrative costs. As such, you know that almost all of your donation will go to the front-line.
