Edinburgh Marathon May 27th 2018

On May 27th, 2018 I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon for the Chris Westwood Charity For Children With Physical Disabilities.

I have chosen this charity because in 2016 my nephew Toby was diagnosed with Cerebral palsy. Toby's symptoms include muscle weakness which is preventing him from walking.

The Chris Westwood charity provides funding for mobility equipment when the state does not provide. This equipment is invaluable for a child's development.

Last year, the charity provided Toby with a trike that could make walking possible with the support it gives in strengthening leg muscles. This was a huge act of kindness and is making a massive difference to Toby.

Hopefully, by raising money, we will play a small part in helping other children. However large or small, your donations will make a difference, they motivate me to get up early and train for this huge event.

Whilst I have faced some physical challenges of endurance before this will be, by far, my toughest.
