Steve Croucher - London Marathon

Having watched the London Marathon from a young age and always wondered what it would be like to take part in, I am about to find out! I have entered the public ballot for a number of years and this year I have been lucky (I think) in getting a place. Having never been a runner this is a big challenge and the training has been hard!

The London Marathon is such a great event to be part of and I could not pass up the opportunity to raise some money for the charity set up in memory of my cousin who was murdered in Zimbabwe whilst working for the World Health Organisation curing TB. The charity operates a school in an area in Kenya to carry on the type of supportive work that Lisa was so passionate about. Seeing the amazing charity efforts from other 'runners' it would be great to be able to raise some money for this cause.
