My story
On 12th June 2008, Private Jeff “JJ” Doherty, known as “Doc” to his brothers in 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, was killed in an ambush in Afghanistan just two days after his 20th birthday.
To honour JJ’s memory, I am taking part in a skydive with the Red Devils Display Team to raise money for JJ’s Memorial Fund. The charity provides vital support to injured Paratroopers and helps the families of Paratroopers who have been killed in action.
Any donation, big or small, will help continue this important work and make a real difference to those who have sacrificed so much. Thank you for your support.
