Somewhere House to Table Mountain 2025

My partner and I intend to complete the 5hr hike up the 12 Apostles and summit on to Table Mountain on the 10 January 2025. 

Table Mountain is a flat top mountain overlooking the city of Cape Town and stands at 3563ft tall. 

The hike includes single rocky track, stone steps, ladders, scrambling and climbing. This will not be easy in itself! The route starts at the Pipe Track entrance in Camps Bay. This is the warm up before we begin the ascent to the summit. The ascent takes us through exquisite cliffs surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. We then head through the Back Tables, the Valley of the gods into the Valley of isolation to the upper cable car station at the Summit. Time at the top to rest and take in some amazing views.

Our aim is to raise awareness in mental health and much needed funds for this charity to help maintain supporting the community by continuing to provide a low-cost counselling service. As two of Somewhere house's counsellors, we advocate for the positive association between physical activity and mental health and to practise what we preach. 

Every penny you donate will go directly to helping those in need in the community.

You may not know us, but you will all know how positive mental and physical wellbeing creates a more harmonious existence for us all.
