On Sunday the 11th October I intend to drag my aging carcass around the course of the London Royal Parks half marathon.   I’ve done it before, but this time will definitely be a little (lot!) slower! 

I’m running for Amber Crisis Pregnancy Care who gave me support when they really wasn’t anywhere else to go 

I really do appreciate and know how lucky we are to have H, he is my everything, but our subsequent multiple losses are a huge part of me and a pain I feel everyday.

Miscarriage and baby loss (and it is the loss of a baby and all the hopes that come along with that) is scary, lonely and life altering. 

Amber gave me a safe space to say all the things I couldn’t say anywhere else. To be angry, very upset, and generally pretty broken. Although they can’t change what has happened, the people of Bromley are so incredibly lucky to have this service and community on their doorstep. 

My way of giving back a little is to raise as much as I can for them. The counselling service they offer is completely free, which is just remarkable. 

For those who have heard me go on about this time after time, I apologise.
