Footlights Raise Money for the Soundwaves Music Project!

Hello!

On the 15th March 2014, the cast of Footlights production of West Side Story will be running the very muddy 5K Rock Solid obstacle race and we need your help!

We are raising money for the Soundwaves Music Project, a local charity in Exeter that uses group music sessions as a form of therapy for adults with learning difficulties. As a musical theatre society, we fully appreciate the power of music and we are so excited to help out this amazing charity.

Soundwaves is a place where disabilities are set aside as music takes over and everyone participates to produce incredibly powerful and creative musical pieces. Group members enjoy writing songs and instrumental music, performing, singing, playing instruments and dancing. The project is a small local charity, reliant on donations and its own fundraising activities supporting about 45 people each week.

Please help us support the Soundwaves Music Project, who are currently rehearsing their special 10 year anniversary musical to be performed this Summer in Exeter. Any donation is much appreciated and will go a long way to help out their members.
