Spa Comms go to Paris!

“It’ll be fun,” we said.

Fast forward to now… and it’s certainly been something.

We’re four fairly ordinary people who happen to work together and with vastly varying degrees of running ability (massive emphasis on varying). Training for a marathon has taught us many things, not least that the plan isn’t always plain sailing. There have been early mornings, late nights, questionable weather, aching legs…and at least one of us wondering whose idea this was in the first place.

But as we near the end of this journey, we’re reminded why we signed up. If all the miles and blisters can help raise support for people who need a little or a lot of help, then every step will have been worth it.

Each of the charities we’re supporting has played a meaningful part in the lives of people we love. They provide invaluable care, support and kindness when it matters most. Anything we can raise to help them continue that work would truly mean the world.

And if that support just so happens to help four pairs of very tired legs make it over the finish line in Paris… well, that would be the cherry on top. 🍒
