Jean Fairfield is raising money for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charitable Fund
My story
Hi, my name is Jean, I am 75 years young and I am registered Blind, I have a Guide Dog, her name is Alice, I suddenly lost my sight Twenty Three years ago while I was at work.
I run our local branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Charity fundraising group, i have been involved in a few fundraising challenges for our local branch.
This time i am doing a sponsored Swim for the NHS Charity MCH based at Leighton Hospital, i had a full Hip Replacement a few months ago, the treatment i received was second to none, i was incredibly impressed with all the staff who looked after me during my stay in Hospital.
