This autumn, we’re lacing up our boots for a sponsored 12-mile walk to raise vital funds for Grantham Operatic Society—a truly special charity and amateur dramatic group that brings people together through the magic of theatre.
Grantham Operatic's is more than a stage—it’s a safe, inclusive space where everyone’s talents shine, whether in the spotlight or behind the scenes. It’s a place where creativity flourishes, friendships are forged, and mental wellbeing is nurtured through shared purpose and joyful expression.
Our next production, Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Into the Woods’, is a beautiful blend of mystery, music, and storytelling. But putting on a show of this calibre costs around £14,000—and even with 80% ticket sales, we face a small loss. That’s why every donation, no matter the size, helps us continue doing what we love: creating unforgettable performances and giving back to our community.
