The St Albans Postboxes Team is raising money for Comfort Cases Uk and Hertfordshire Domestic Abuse Helpline
Every Christmas, postboxes in St Albans and the surrounding area are decorated with crocheted and knitted works of art.
It's fun and it's fundraising, so please dig deep for our two amazing charities for 2025 - Comfort Cases UK and Herts Domestic Abuse Hotline.
The toppers are made by a team of around 50 dedicated volunteers who begin work on these festive delights from about March each year.
Many volunteers help and this is very much a community project, with everyone donating their skills, time and materials.

As we head towards launch, we have raised £12,457.00, mostly from sponsors, which is just fantastic. There's lots going on at Postboxes HQ as we get everything ready for launch. We'd love to see as many people as possible at the launch, which is a short 15/20 minute event in St Albans on Friday 28 November - 930am at the Clock Tower. All are welcome.
