St George Finance are raising money for The Honeypot Children's Charity, Mencap, St Basils and Spear Housing Association
The St George Finance team are joining together to raise money for The Honeypot Children's Charity, SPEAR London, Mencap and St. Basils.
We will be taking part in the The St George Thames Sites Challenge which celebrates the array of St George developments along the Thames, and how the developments we have all worked on have helped shaped life along the river.
Starting at Royal Exchange Kingston, the route will bypass Kew Village, Sovereign Court, Fulham Reach, Chelsea Creek, Ram Brewery, Battersea Reach, Imperial Wharf, St George Wharf and One Blackfriars, ending at London Dock.
Our charities:
Honeypot Children's Charity: Since 1996 Honeypot has been working to enhance the lives of young carers aged 5-12 years by providing respite breaks and on-going outreach support. In the UK nationwide, they give young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and provide a safe, nurturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential (honeypot.org.uk).
SPEAR London: They work with communities in which anyone facing or experiencing homelessness can quickly move into secure accommodation, get effective support, and work towards their hopes and aspirations (spearlondon.org).
Mencap: Helping improve the lives of people with a learning disability and their families, and work alongside them for a better future (mencap.org.uk/).
St Basils: Working with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to enable them to find and keep a home, grow their confidence, develop their skills, increase opportunities and prevent homelessness (stbasils.org.uk/).
