St Gregory's Ealing Half Marathon Running Team - Bracken

My sister is Assistant Head Teacher at St Gregory's Primary School. Her and her fellow teachers, staff and parents have worked hard to build an encouraging school environment that enables children to learn and thrive. The school has a very hard working PTA, who raise funds to add resources and improve the learning environment for the childen.

In recent years they have used PTA funding to improve the school, including gardening projects, writing workshops, author visits, science resources, a mud kitchen, new topic books, and refurbished the new Performing Arts Room.

They have even more planned for the school next year, including the purchase of much needed sports equipment, repairs to the school playground, new phonics books and school cameras – among many other goals.

This year, 11 teachers and their friends and families are running the Ealing Half Marathon to raise needed funds for the school. The Ealing Half Marathon is the perfect challenge as it runs right past the school gates!
While I am not a staff member, I fully support my sister and her colleagues in improving the school and the learning environment for the children. I will be running alongside them, and am training as hard as I can, which has been challenging in the heat! Any money you can give to support us will be well received.
