Stepping Up for Women and Girls

I’m stepping up for women and girls - and I’d love your support.

I’m taking part in Step Up for Impact, Impact London Collective’s first-ever fundraising walk which will take place on Sunday, 10 May.

I co-founded Impact London Collective because I wanted to be part of something that didn’t just talk about supporting women and girls, but actually put meaningful funding directly into the hands of grassroots organisations doing the work. Too many brilliant charities led by and for women are underfunded, overstretched, and overlooked - and ILC was created to help change that.

What started as an idea has become a community I’m incredibly proud of. Being part of ILC has shown me the power of collective giving - how ordinary people, coming together, can create real, tangible change. It’s given me hope, connection, and a deep belief that when we trust local organisations and fund them properly, they can transform lives.

What I love about ILC is that it’s:

• Collective – many people giving together to create real impact
• Local – funding organisations rooted in London communities
• Trust-based – providing flexible funding where it’s needed most

For this challenge, I’ve committed to walking 21km through central London, along a route rooted in feminist history and collective action, and to raising £2,500 for ILC’s 2026 grant fund.

Each donation will go towards funding local organisations supporting women’s safety, opportunity, wellbeing and futures. Supporting women and girls isn’t just about fairness - it’s about building stronger, healthier communities for everyone.
