Steve running Barry Island 10k for Hijinx

I started running again in January, being boringly conformative to the 'New Year, New Me' mantra, but this time I had a real purpose. 

I have twin 3-year old boys, who are the light of my life, but run me ragged! I wanted to have more energy and be around longer for them, not to mention to use this as a great vehicle to raise money! I raised over £200 for Prostate Cancer UK in January after my dad was diagnosed 2 years ago, and this time I'm raising money for the wonderful Hijinx. 

I started working for Hijinx 3 months before my boys were born and the family that I've inherited there have been an amazing support to my new family. The work Hijinx does is truly inspiring and I wanted to give something back in whatever way I can. 

I'm running the Barry Island 10k in May and quite nervous as I've never done one before OR run that far! So please support me by donating to Hijinx (but some supportive words would be ace too!) and I'll hopefully see you on the finishing line on the 17th May!
