Strictly Come George

Hi, I’m George. My dancing career so far has consisted mostly of some very enthusiastic karaoke moves – but that’s about it. I have, however, been referred to as “Snake Hips” in the past, so hoping that proves useful. My current plan is to focus mainly on not falling over… But whatever happens, I’m looking forward to it.

I’ll be taking part in a Strictly Come Dancing charity event themed around Back to the Future. So expect plenty of jigs, jives and maybe even a DeLorean…

But most importantly, this is all for a brilliant cause. I’m raising money for Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity. Right now, more than 270,000 people in England are homeless, and millions more are stuck in insecure or unsafe housing. Shelter provides free advice, legal support, and emergency services to people in crisis, while also campaigning for long-term solutions to fix the housing emergency. Every donation helps make sure more people have a safe, secure place to call home.

I’ll be dancing the Charleston on Saturday 29th November at the Titanic hotel in Liverpool. So please, if you can, support me on my journey and support Shelter. Help me elevate from karaoke-level snake hips to a charlston that even Doc Brown would be proud of.
