Sugar Free Challenge

I am over half way through my 'sugar free' challenge this month raising money for New Hope Counselling. This charity is based in the Warwick area and offers counselling to all in the local community. Most of our referrals come from NHS services but we get no public funding for our work. Apart from those with managerial responsibilities, our team of counsellors work on a voluntary basis. I aim to raise some much needed funds to support our counselling work with those who use our service and are extreme financial hardship. Recently we are seeing an increased number who are on universal credit. Some have have lost jobs due to the COVID crisis. We want to be able to continue to provide a counselling service to those who need it even if they are unable to donate any money towards the cost of their therapy. I have been avoiding eating any products which have added sugar, including honey and artificial sweeteners for the month of February. My husband is checking that I stick to the rules!
