My story
Survivor's Network support people of all ages and genders in Brighton & Sussex who have experienced sexual abuse and violence. They offer crucial support services including counselling, advocacy, a helpline, support groups.
They are currently being SUED because they are a trans-inclusive service who welcome trans women into their women-only spaces. I find it outrageous that a small charity should have to devote valuable time and energy to defending themselves in court. I also believe strongly that given the higher rates of sexual assault against trans women it is vital that they are included in the support offered by charities like Survivor's Network.
This fundraiser is intended as a small gesture to show support for Survivor's Network and their work. Their lawyer is acting for free so the money raised will go straight to the charity. Please stand with Survivor's Network and donate whatever you can spare.
