My story
2nd-8th May 2016 marks National Deaf Awareness Week in the UK and Swansea University Audiology PTP students will be carrying out a Sponsored Silence (with a twist!) in order to raise awareness about hearing loss. Proceeds of this fundraising activity will go to a local hearing loss charity, Wales Council for Deaf People wcdeaf.org.uk/
On Wednesday 4th May, 9 first year Audiology students will plug their ears in the attempt to simulate the day-to-day experiences of an individual with mild-moderate hearing loss.
