Just another 2 days to go to keep clocking the 12000 steps. I must admit that I could not do it one day so far, I did 11,297 steps on 19th May, as I had to drive to Coventry and back on that day, after the office hours. Hope all the people who donated would not mind fpor that one day, I promise to continue doing 12000 steps for an extra week to compensate this.

Murthy Surepeddi family is raising money for Chinmaya Mission UK
My story
Chinmaya Mission exists to provide individuals from any background, the universal wisdom of Vedanta and the practical means for personal growth and development. The UK centre of this global educational and service-oriented spiritual and charitable organisation offers an array of study forums and activities in English based on Indian scriptures to empower and transform individuals to become positive contributors to society. Activities are run entirely by volunteers and almost all activities are free to attend, all made possible through the support and contribution of individuals and generous sponsors.
Chinmaya Mission UK has currently renovated its building in Hendon, London, providing a vision for future generations and a home where families can meet, learn, grow, develop, and serve. The new building has a large hall, a dedicated place to worship and meditate, a book shop, all equipped with the latest technologies.
These facilities will allow its musical wing, Chinmaya Swaranjali UK, to continue to conduct free music lessons and recitals to anyone interested in spiritual upliftment and achieving peace and happiness through music. As a regular beneficiary of Swaranjali UK’s activities, I am supporting these efforts by fundraising for the renovation.
While the full renovation is expected to cost over £2.2m, Swaranjali UK members as a group are attempting to raise at least £20,000 towards this honourable cause.
As a family, we have benefited tremendously from Chinmaya Mission and would like to raise £1000.
I will attempt 12000 steps each day for a month from 16th May to 15 June 2022.
