Last shout out for donations! In T minus two days my son Nikolai and I do our first ever UK mountain climb at one of the 3 peaks - Scafell Pike along with his school Radnor House as part of an annual charity drive. Why an I doing this? Apart from charity and to connect with my son, 18 months ago I slipped a disc in my back which was the most debilitating physical experience of my life, it took almost a year to recover and just be “normal”. It gave me real perspective in being grateful for the simple things we take for granted in life. This climb represents to me that although my boxing days are behind me, I have overcome this challenge at last. However more importantly this is for charity, to help others who cannot help themselves and who may also feel powerless or trapped in life, debilitated in any way be that physical, emotional or financially.
