Team Setters, Reigatians & Nutfield march again to beat MND

We're joining March of the Day III to raise funds for research and care for those living with brutal motor neurone disease - MND.

From June 1 -  6 the larger team will be hiking from Anfield to the Rob Burrow MND Centre in Leeds. Team Setters will be involved from June 1 - 3 from Anfield to Old Trafford, where the Reigatians AFC banner will be unfurled as the club is sponsoring the Old Trafford to Swinton Lions leg of the march.

This year, the march will not only stop  at football clubs, it will also stop at many rugby league clubs, large  and small. This is a joint football and rugby league effort  to fight back against MND.

Diagnosed with MND in 2012, Dave can no longer use his hands, arms or legs. He is a life-long member, player and official of Reigatians AFC in Surrey, who have been great supporters of his fundraising and campaigning efforts, as have friends from different areas of his life. He believes he is fortunate to have a slowly progressive version of the brutal condition as 50% of those diagnosed have a prognosis of only c2 years.

The village of South Nutfield, in Surrey, has always been very supportive of Dave's fundraising and campaigning efforts.
