Terrapinn's Rare Disease Day 🦓

Rare Disease Day is observed every year on February 28 (or 29 in leap years) to raise awareness about rare diseases and their impact on millions of people worldwide. Although each rare disease affects a small number of individuals, collectively they affect over 300 million people globally. The day promotes early diagnosis, better access to treatment, increased research, and stronger policies to support patients and their families, while also encouraging understanding and reducing stigma in society.
