Thames Path Ultra Challenge 50k

This time last year, due to excruciating back pain, I could hardly walk, laugh, sneeze & a few other things that you don’t need to know about!

On the 8th September many of you will remember as the day Queen Elizabeth II passed away, I remember it as the day Mr Andrew Hilton performed a microdiscectomy on my L5/S1 (lumbar and sacral intervertebral discs) & picked bits of my end plate out of my nerves.

So to mark this amazing recovery I’m sticking on my walking boots with my beautiful friend Hilary Ryman & stomping a mere 50k down the Thames Path.

Topsy Foundation Org UK as many of you know is dear to my heart, the charity does such incredible work!
