Emma Jane is raising money for Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse
My story
This year I wanted to support a local cause who’s services have been needed more than ever during the recent pandemic yet are always under funded.
As a Health Visitor I know of the struggles and fear Domestic Abuse Victims and their children suffer and can only try to imagine how difficult lockdown has been for them.
This organisation not only supports and guides victims, it also offers invaluable training to professionals like myself. My daughter and I will be walking a section of the Thames Path in Oxfordshire (over 20miles) from Newbridge to Abingdon.

Less than 24 hours to go so taking it easy today.
Braved the rain last night with the dog and Izzy.
Fingers crossed it will stay dry Tomorrow. But whatever we will do it.

4 days to go!
Last 2 days have been beach days - lots of walking with the dog, some body boarding and running from the rain!
Freedom to do what I wish. Domestic Abuse sufferers sadly often do not have that and live in constant fear of what each day will bring.
