My story
I have officially signed up for a 10K! 🏃♀️
I will be running in support of Codebar, a fantastic charity that helps create a more diverse tech community by providing free programming workshops and opportunities for people from underrepresented groups.
This challenge feels particularly meaningful to me. In August 2025, I injured my knee and had to stop running completely. After months of recovery, I was finally given the all-clear to begin light training in March this year and I haven't found the time or had the motivation to do so.
Now, I am ready to properly return to running and challenge myself to complete a 10K.
It will take time, training and determination, but I am excited to prove to myself how far I have come since my injury, all while raising money for a brilliant cause.
If you are able to sponsor me, however much or little, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation will help support Codebar and give me some extra motivation when the training gets tough!
The comeback is on… and that finish line is waiting! ✨
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Codebar.
