The Deepbridge Challenge

On the 11th of September, our team is taking on one of our toughest challenges yet - hiking 50k along the coastal path of Anglesey from Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch to Rhosneigr.

We're doing this in aid of our chosen charity: Womb Transplant UK, which as you may be aware, has a connection with Deepbridge. Grace Bell, who underwent a womb transplant in 2024, is the partner of our Sales Director, Steven Powell. Their son, Hugo Powell, was born in December 2025 and is the second baby to be born in the UK from a womb transplant, and the first baby to be born from a deceased donor.
 
At the start of the programme, Womb Transplant UK had enough private funding to proceed with approximately 10 transplants. With each transplant costing around £30,000, we are raising for this charity to help with the funding for those on the waiting list for a transplant, wishing hopefully one day they can birth their own child.
 
As part of our annual team challenges, this promises to be one of the toughest yet - but we're ready to take it on. We appreciate all of the luck and support while we raise funds for a fantastic charity.
